The Wretched War

Damselfly in the garden
Feel not a qualm
Simplify its burden
Know not an evil
perched on the leaves with a gleam
watching the flowers bloom!
The sky with the birdies & dragonflies
And the plants with  the butterflies
All ecstasy to the damselfly !!!!
The skies that once had all these adorable;
Are now with the metal birds!
The volley of Arsenal!
And the battery of missiles!
Flying past to destroy targets over miles!!!
Caused the pandemonium of war
The intellectuals are destroying the paradise
Built over many years
But the damselfly did not build a home
Yet happy in itself to have a living
If we have an empty world;
Who are we going to lean on
And who are we going to support on
Who are we going to depend on?
Let the peace be on all and
Then say, “no to war” and save the world!
